It appears that yet another fraudulent email is going out to folks from a gmail account.
Please note, we will never contact you to ask you to do this sort of thing. The Official Business of the Grand Lodge, by email, will always be from one of our “ioof.net” email addresses.
If you ever receive a suspicious email from anyone, check the email address that the message is coming from. In this case the email address is “Robert G.Schwalm tsurer254@gmail.com <mailto:tsurer254@gmail.com> ”
This email is unknown to us. I have reported this email to gmail and they are trying to track down who sent it.
If the email looks suspicious, check it out with the person who susposedly sent the email. Do not click any links and do not reply to the email at all.
I am sorry this is happening yet again. There is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it. As long as there are dishonest people out there these things are bound to happen.
Yours in Friendship, Love, and Truth,
John R. Nichols,
Grand Secretary.
